Teething

When I see my daughter so uncomfortable, and in so much pain, I want to say Lord, stop the teething process please! Yet I know it is essential for her growth, and her teeth are a foundation for the rest of her life. Which nutrients she will be able to chew depend upon what is happening at this moment.

We all have processes in our lives that are painful and uncomfortable..­ Yet to stop the work that God is doing in our lives that makes us feel icky at times is to stop what He is preparing us for in the future.

Teething is a necessary part of life, and if God is working on a part of your life even if its almost unbearable, it is necessary.

His love "prunes" us so we can bear more fruit.
